Should Evangelicals be protected under hate laws . . . ?

your question is a good one and raises a lot of issues. when an individual is aulted because of their categorical clification, the pain they feel does not increase or decrease according to how many other people are in that categorical clification. I don't agree with the idea of a "hate crime" anyway; individual rights do not increase or decrease according to group identification as a "majority" or "minority"
