What effects can Nitroglycerin have on children?

My girlfriends Daughter just got into her nitroglycerin tablets and ate some...we dont know how many yet. She is taking her to the hospital right now and I am just sitting here worried to death about the girl. She is currently in another state 1000 miles away visiting family or i would be there with her. So my question is what kind of ill effects could happen to a 2 year old that ingested nitroglycerin tablets?
