What happens to an Artist once they Graduate?

Ultimately the current non-digital business models do not adapt to support the online collaboration, to make a living (and, like it or not, that is necessary for most artists) a new attitude to business has to be accepted. The internet is seen by many users as a “free” resource, the only way many sites can make money is by giving away the product and relying on advertising revenue, if the traffic through the site is not sufficient the site will be uneconomical to continue.
